Wide Awake | Bethesda Maryland Newborn Photographer

Baby D stayed wide awake and content for pretty much our entire session. Such a stubborn little guy for a two week old! I think he wanted to be a part of the action. And, I'm so glad he did because I love the shots we got with his amazing eye contact. I can't wait to see him grow over the next year!

All Smiles : Bethesda MD Baby Photographer

Baby N was one of the most smiley little ones I have photographed! He was so well behaved, we had a great time getting him to laugh and smile and let his personality shine through.  I could have photographed him all day. It was so much fun to meet your family - thanks for coming to the studio and introducing me to your sweetheart! 

It's a tie between the next two for my favorite. Those eyes are amazing!

To be Two : Bethesda, MD Child Photographer

A and his parents came to the studio for some holiday portraits last weekend. Two year olds are so cute! He had such personality it was so much fun to capture his many faces on camera. Since they haven't selected the images for their holiday cards yet and I don't want to spoil the surprise, I'm only going to share two! :)

Mini Sessions Recap : Bethesda Family Photographer

It's been a while since I've posted here and I have lots to catch up on. To start, October's mini sessions were a success! Rachael and I met up with a few wonderful families at Brookside Gardens in the late afternoon for some photos against a gorgeous fall backdrop. It was so great to meet each family and spend some time together, and of course to get some great photos! I loved interacting with all of the kids... they were so cute. I hope to see all of you again soon!

The K Family : Virginia Family Photographer

The K family lives on the beach; like walk out the backdoor and step in the sand close to the beach!  I'm so jealous. Their house is gorgeous and so are they! With four boys...all starting with the letter J, I had my hands full keeping track of who was who. I can't imagine what it's like keeping track of their schedules and activities!

It must be so much fun to grow up so close in age. Never a dull moment! And being as handsome as those boys are, they are sure to break a lot of hearts as they get older.



Aren't they the cutest? I love this photo because you can see each of their different personalities in their expressions.

Gorgeous Family : Maryland Portrait Photographer

These gorgeous kids happen to be related to me! Meet the S family. I'm so glad we were able to spend time together during our visit to Florida. We don’t get to see each other that often because of the distance so we couldn’t leave without having an official family photoshoot!

Although we planned to do the pictures after a long day at the beach, the kids were still all smiles and we managed to get some beautiful images in a short amount of time. They have a perfect location behind their house where we did the photos just as the sun was setting. Can't wait to see you all again soon!

VA Beach Sessions in August : Bethesda Maryland Photographer

I wanted to post a quick update that I will be traveling to Virginia Beach the weekend of August 7th. If anyone is interested in a child, highschool senior, or family session please send me an email! I have availability the mornings of the 7th and the 8th for one session (maybe two). I won't be back again until late September so if you want to get an early start on photos for holiday cards, now is a great time!

Brothers : Studio Session

When I first started shooting in the studio I didn't think I would like it as much as shooting outdoors. Flashes, power sources, ratios and lots of wires didn't sound so fun to me. But the more time I spend in the studio the more I enjoy it. I like the simplicity and I like the control of it. Luckily, I had the chance to meet Mrs. H who wanted studio photos of her two boys. Fabulous! I had a great time meeting them and we had some fun in the studio trying different poses. We even did some shots wearing their favorite soccer jerseys. It was so great to meet you all and I hope you have an amazing time on your summer vacation!

What a Doll : Studio Session

This session was extra special because I finally got to meet Ms. M in person! I've know her mom way to long by now and had yet to meet her baby girl. So I was so glad we were able to coordinate for her one year old photo session.  Ms. M was very well behaved and did a great job. It wasn't hard to get her to smile - she has so much personality! And I think she would have finished the lollipop if we would have let her :) 

 I love the way the images turned out. Thanks M family for coming to the studio. I had a great time and I hope you like the pictures. More to come soon!  

Newborn Photo Session with Baby A

It was so fun to spend the afternoon with this little girl and her parents. Cute Baby A was wide awake and had no intention of going to sleep. We rocked her, fed her, changed her and changed her again (after she peed on daddy!) ... she wouldn't sleep.  But I think we got some great shots anyway! She finally fell asleep near the end of the session when we were able to get a few great family photos. I hope you like your images and I can't wait to watch her grow! She is such a cutie!
