Double the Fun

Introducing the C brothers .... Charlie and Cooper! How cute are those names? This was my first time photographing twins, not to mention newborn twins! But these were the sweetest little guys and so cooperative. They loved taking turns in the spotlight. Now sharing it, that's another story. We did manage to get a few good shots of them together... but mom might have to break up a few fights in the future :) 

I must also mention that mom and dad were so calm and cool they made my job that much easier. Thank you! They even had snacks waiting for me. Amazing.

Newborn Photo Session with Baby A

It was so fun to spend the afternoon with this little girl and her parents. Cute Baby A was wide awake and had no intention of going to sleep. We rocked her, fed her, changed her and changed her again (after she peed on daddy!) ... she wouldn't sleep.  But I think we got some great shots anyway! She finally fell asleep near the end of the session when we were able to get a few great family photos. I hope you like your images and I can't wait to watch her grow! She is such a cutie!

Happy Birthday Lucas!

This weekend I had the pleasure of attending and photographing Lucas' one year old birthday party. The theme of the party was cake, ice cream, and candy - can't get much better than that! Oh, and hair, because Lucas is known for his full head of gorgeous brown locks.

Lucas' mommy, and my good friend, threw him an excellent party with plenty of family and friends to celebrate. I don't think Lucas had a clue what was going on but everyone else had a good time!

Amazing and delicious hair-themed cake! It even came with a smaller version Smash Cake for Lucas to dig into.

A lot of thought went into making sure the perfect sweets and teats were there.

This is my favorite picture from the party. Family photo time and all Lucas wants to do is start eating. Look at him eyeing his cake!

I'm glad I could be a part of this milestone day. I can't wait for the future celebrations as Lucas grows up!

West Coast Treat

Our recent trip to San Francisco and Napa Valley was super fun. We went for a very good friend's wedding which was spectacular. The wedding was on Treasure Island at Casa De La Vista, which is just over the Bay Bridge and looks back on the city of SF. Beautiful! The ceremony was outside at sunset and you just couldn't have asked for a more perfect backdrop.  The bad news is I didn't take any pictures at the wedding :(. But the good news is I took a TON during the rest of our trip. We decided to stay a few extra days and visit Sonoma and Napa Valley. I really love it out there! Here are some highlights from the trip:

We went to this huge farmer's market at the ferry building that must be THE place to go on the weekends. It was packed with delicious farms offering everything from local cheese, fruits & veggies, breads and SAMPLES!

It was such a gorgeous day we took a long walk down to the Wharf. Glenn wanted to kill me because I had to stop every five minutes to snap a pic. He better get used to it!

Napa was beautiful... and so green!

I would highly recommend doing a tour of a winery if you get the chance to visit.

I finally decided to start a blog! I figure this is the best way to show my images, share tid bits about me, and other randomness. I'm planning to post regularly so I hope you enjoy and come back for more!

Since the blog will be mostly about photography, here are a few pictures from my recent studio session with Ms. Laila. This was one of my first sessions with a toddler and she was walking ALL over the place!  She was so much fun and the absolute cutest!
